Creative Content & Social Media Coordinator
Part-Time, Chicago-Based
Location: Chicago (remote with in-person shoots)
Type: Contractor
Compensation: $1,000/month
About Sage Haus
Sage Haus is a Chicago-based real estate and lifestyle studio built around the belief that the right space is the key to living well.
We combine strategy, storytelling, and design to shape how people experience home — online & in person.
We’re looking for a creative partner who understands how visuals and narrative work together. Someone who can bring structure to ideas, consistency to the calendar, and a sense of intention to everything we share.
The Role
You’ll carry the visual and narrative through-line across Sage Haus channels + brand extensions, building consistency and connection between what we post, write, and share.
This role blends storytelling, photography, and strategy to help evolve our presence across platforms like Instagram and Pinterest.
You will:
Develop and manage monthly content calendars
Draft captions and refine brand voice across platforms
Plan and schedule posts using your preferred creative workflow
Coordinate photo shoots — assist with selects, logistics, and execution under the creative direction of the studio lead
Edit imagery and short-form video for reels and posts
Repurpose blog and newsletter content for social storytelling
Maintain visual and tonal cohesion across all brand touchpoints
Tools we use: Google Drive, Airtable, and Squarespace. Familiarity with these tools — or comfort learning them — is a plus.
Collaboration & Compensation
$1,000/month retainer (approx. 10–15 hours/month)
Additional paid opportunities for event + campaign support
Flexible schedule — remote with in-person shoots
This is an ongoing collaboration with room to evolve as the brand grows.
About You
You’re creative and organized: someone who knows that strong storytelling is built on structure and a clear point of view.
You bring visuals and narrative together with care — editing, planning, and noticing the small things that make a story feel real.
You value balance and design that feels lived-in, moving with intention rather than urgency.
Ideally, you:
Are experienced in photography, content creation, or creative direction
Edit photos + reels with a refined, timeless touch
Write with clarity and restraint
Enjoy building structure behind creative work (calendars, planning, flow)
Are Chicago-based or familiar with the city’s creative landscape
