Don't Tell Comedy

Whoever said "Secrets, secrets are no fun," is a pure liar. They're exceptionally fun, especially when it's the location & set list of an intimate, secret comedy show.

Don't pretend like you're not already jealous you didn't get into the last Don't Tell Chicago show...

When I found out Don't Tell Comedy had finally made it's way to Chicago, I knew it was making my bucket list.  Currently hosted in 8 different cities, the show is quickly becoming the worst kept secret in Chicago with up-and-coming & well-known comedians hitting their stages.

On the day of the show, we all received an email telling us exactly where to go (They at least tell you the neighborhood ahead of time). Sometimes you might be on a rooftop, other times you might be in someone's home--it's all apart of the fun. Tonight we were going to Cone Gourmet Ice Cream, a cute little ice cream shop in the West Loop.

My buddy, Charlie, & I grabbed a couple beers to take with us and headed over to the show (Yes, it's BYOB!) We sat at a table in the shop's adorable patio.

Our guy, Conor Cawley, hosted the evening's events & gave us a good laugh. And then over the course of the evening, we finally learned the identities of the super top secret comedians.

4 very talented comedians performed amazing stand up with some crude jokes, belly laughing jokes & "ain't that the truth" jokes. All in all, our faces say it all (Clearly Charlie & I could barely contain ourselves--shocking). It was pretty frickin hilarious. At one point, I looked around and the entire fence was lined with people just trying to be apart of it all--it really was that good.

Lucky for you, the next show is tonight at an undisclosed location in Lincoln Park & we'll of course be there. For tickets check out this link
