KM Living x Equinox | Yoga Class

In case you haven’t already heard, Equinox is adding to their Chicago portfolio and opening a new gym in Lincoln Park this summer! In anticipation of the grand opening, Equinox reached out to us asking if we’d like to team up on a KM Living event, and of course we had to say yes. Plus, what a better way to start off the year than with a fresh flow?!

It had been a minute since I’d been to a yoga class, so I was nervous to say the least. The days leading up to the event, all I could think about was whether or not we would have enough room for everyone (I’d never been to the space before, and it said it held 40 people…but was that a yoga 40?) and the fact that I couldn’t wear my go-to red lipstick to class (lol but really).

By sheer luck, we happened to have the exact amount of people show up per mats (a normal 40 was more of a yoga 32), and the beats & flow started. We had a great mix of beginners to avid practitioners who all showcased their talents. During the 60-minute class, you could see everyone truly trying to make one of their first yoga classes of 2019 count regardless of their expertise or lack thereof. Post class, Equinox raffled off a water bottle, t-shirt, a massage, and even a free month of membership!

The cherry on top? After the class, I received the sweetest message.

“Thank you so much for hosting such a great event on Saturday! It was nice to have had such a nice start to the morning, accompanied by many warm people.”
